Eshraqa Conducts Campus to Corporate Leadership Workshop for 250 students from University of Buraimi, SQU & Rustaq College of Applied Sciences

Muscat 14, April 2019: Committedto the nation’s development and progress, Eshraqa, Khimji Ramdas’ Social Development Arm continues to conduct the Campus to Corporate (C2C) Leadership program. The initiative is a one-day interactive workshop that prepares and equips college students with life skills essential for achieving success in the corporate world.

Since its inception, C2C has seen over 2000 students from the Omani colleges and universities successfully attend multiple sessions; in the first quarter of 2019, more than 250 students from top colleges in the Sultanate, namely Sultan Qaboos University, Rustaq College of Applied Sciences, and the University of Buraimi have benefited from this knowledge-sharing seminar.

Pedantically designed by highly experienced mentors of Eshraqa; this transformational behavioural training program endorses corporate excellence by imparting knowledge and skills to college students to carry the right attitude in competitive business environments. The pragmatic curriculum showcases the importance of introspective learning and striving for business distinction using imaginative, innovative and proactive approaches to solve real life problems. Along with these workshops, students have the opportunity to interact and converse with young Omani achievers who share their inspirational stories; motivating students to follow their aspirations and become the leaders of tomorrow.

Commenting on the initiative, Nailesh Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas said, “Across the globe, educational institutions impart academic and theoretical knowledge; which is essential but does not impart the comprehensive skills required in today’s dynamic business environment. Eshraqa remains committed to its support towards the national agenda in empowering the youth through its Education pillar with initiatives focused on knowledge transfer and capacity building that in turn add value to the socio-economic development within the Sultanate.”

Nadeem Ahmed, General Manager, Khimji Training Institute said, “A country’s growth is determined by its resources. Natural resources drive initial growth; however human resources sustain and carry it forward. Oman is undergoing a substantial transformation with the youth poised to be the drivers of Oman’s growth in the next decade. Eshraqa’s Campus to Corporate Leadership Program is crafted to empower these dynamic leaders of tomorrow with the requisite skills to accelerate their transition from campus to corporate and align their growth to Oman’s vision 2040.”

Targeted towards college pupils and fresh graduates, Eshraqa strongly believes the C2C program accelerates the transition of students from campus to corporate life and sturdily impacts infrastructural growth along with human capital investments. Eshraqa remains committed in empowering the community with initiatives that are at the forefront of sustainable development. It aims to invest and support projects that have a long-lasting impact on the growth of the nation with a wide range of activities including healthcare, education and social welfare.
