Khimji Ramdas has launched its calendar for the current year celebrating Oman's rich cultural heritage. The initiative is part of an overall KR drive to uphold and highlight noteworthy achievements of Oman and its people.
Commenting on the endeavour, Nailesh Khimji, Director, KR, said, "The Khimiji Ramdas calendar has always followed a tradition of highlighting one chosen sector each year, in which it celebrates the people of Oman and their accomplishments."
This year, as part of its culture and heritage focus, the Khimji Ramdas calendar has chosen to shine the spotlight on 13 illustrious Omani poets, Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Harthy, Hibal Bin Bader Al Bausaidi, and Abdullah Bin Ali Al Sadrani, and many others whose works have been widely appreciated and honoured throughout Oman. The calendar has an avant-garde look and feel, enhanced with special gold printing and droplet UV effects.
Some of the Sultanate's literary geniuses have received honourable mentions in the KR annual calendar. This KR 2017 calendar spotlighting Oman's cultural stalwarts is receiving rave reviews from different sections of society and especially from connoisseurs of art and literature. It wouldn't be far from truth that this piece of creative art is well on its way to achieve the status of a collector's item.
