Eshraqa KR Employees spend quality time with Association of Early Intervention children

Muscat,25 September 2019: Investing in the future of disabled children, Eshraqa, the social development arm of Khimji Ramdas recently donated valuable contributions in kind to the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities to assist in smooth operations for the betterment and development of disabled children. This endeavour, gesture of commitment to empowering valued segments of society; serves as another step forward for Eshraqa in support of the community through various charitable institutions.

In addition to the donation, Eshraqa hosted a fun and healthy breakfast for the Association children at its Azaiba branch, with staff and volunteers from Eshraqa Khimji Ramdas spending quality time with the children and indulging them with games and special cartoon character appearances. The event was a great success, spreading smiles and cheers amongst all the little ones.

Commenting on the perseverance of the Association and the role of KR, Nailesh Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas said, “The Association serves as a significant source for early intervention in the Sultanate and is a stellar example of support towards the betterment of society. We strive to enrich lives across the Sultanate, with aid for deserving individuals and families, so they can reach their definitive potential. We will continue to nurture, empower and inspire children from all walks of life, the leaders of tomorrow, who will go on to bring progress to our beloved Oman.

Highlighting Eshraqa’s support, Sabah al Bahlani, CEO of the Association of the Early Intervention said, “Long-term support from private organisations like Khimji Ramdas is admirable and is what fuels us to keep working towards the well-being of disabled children. We are extremely grateful for the support bestowed upon us and urge other public and private sector institutions to come forward to assist the deprived sections of the community. We can only grow, if the whole nation progresses together.”

Persistent on its backing towards the Association, Eshraqa’s support has included a range of initiatives directed to assist and enliven its members.
