Eshraqa, Khimji Ramdas’ Social Development Arm, recently presented 10000 school bags for 70 government school students in the Wilayat of Samail, Bidbid, Izki and, Ibra. This initiative comes as part of Eshraqa’s endeavours to support the education sector in the Sultanate as well as developing the local communities.
Expressing his appreciation for the initiative, Shaikh Dr. Hamood bin Ali Al Marshoodi, Wali of Bidbid, said: “We would like to express our appreciation to KR Eshraqa for their social initiatives that are aimed at enhancing the education sector, social activities and, health centers. This gesture complements previous initiatives executed by Eshraqa for our wilayat in the field of education. This sector is one of the key pillars for creating that next generation, who can build the future of the Sultanate. We look forward to seeing such initiatives from other entities which will positively impact the community, ultimately improving the welfare of people.’’

Speaking on the gesture, Majid bin Nasser Al Sinawy, Assistant Director-General for Planning and Human Resources Development in General Directorate of Education in North Sharqia Governorate, said: ‘‘We would like to express our appreciation to Eshraqa for their vital role in supporting the national education sector. We do also applaud Eshraqa’s endeavors to implement development projects in Ibra’s 13 schools. Certainly, these enriching projects will not only have a beneficial impact on the learning process but also improve student’s lives. We thank Eshraqa for their efforts and hope that they continue supporting the learning sector in Oman. We wish Khimji Ramdas more prosperity and success,’’ he said.
