Muscat: Dedicated to upholding corporate social responsibility, KR Group concluded its 41st annual blood donation drive, a longstanding tradition held during the holy month of Ramadan. The event was organised under the supervision of the Blood Donation Services Department, Ministry of Health (MoH).
KR Group’s employees’ family and friends actively participated, embodying the organization’s commitment to service and community welfare for over four decades. A notable number of KR employees graciously stepped forward to donate blood, contributing to the noble cause of saving lives. The response from donors was positive, reflecting the spirit of generosity and compassion.
The event highlighted the critical importance of sustaining blood supplies, especially during Ramadan, when demand often exceeds availability. Adhering strictly to blood bank guidelines, thorough immunization histories, travel records, and medical screenings were meticulously recorded prior to blood donation, ensuring the safety and well-being of both donors and recipients.
